How do I open an IntelliPics activity with IntelliPics Studio and IntelliTools Classroom Suite?
To import or open legacy (see FAQ #9) IntelliPics activity files (i.e., documents) in IntelliPics Studio or IntelliTools Classroom Suite:

1. Launch IntelliPics Studio 3/IntelliTools Classroom Suite (ICS), and select New documents.  Open a blank IntelliPics Studio document.

2. From the Menu, on the File menu, select Import IntelliPics File. [Note: currently for Mac OS X, Classic must be launched to import legacy IntelliPics activities.  The fall 2005 version and update to ICS will not require this.]

3. When prompted, navigate to the location of the legacy IntelliPics activity.

4. Select the file. An Import dialog box will display with the option to import as either a) IntelliPics or b) Explore, Paint and Design.  Both open the activity in Explore Mode; choice b. will display all of the custom toolbars and choice a. may show one toolbar and the rest are hidden. [Note: the fall 2005 version and update to ICS has a greatly improved import functionality and features for legacy IntelliPics activities.]

5. Once imported ICS will immediately conduct a save as function.  The activity may now be used and/or edited as desired and will saved as an IntelliTools Classroom Suite document.
